Yes. Each character keeps its own memory of your conversations — what you told it, how you said it, and what mattered at the time — and brings it up later without being prompted. That is the difference between Chat Ai and a chatbot that starts over every session.

Can I create my own character?

Yes. You give them a name, a personality, a history, a speaking style and a picture. Keep them private to you, or submit them to the public catalog.
